This year the Ethiopian History Society in London is proudly holding its eigth annual Ethiopian History Awareness event. You are invited to join them to celebrate the 124th anniversary of the Victory of Adwa and commemorate the Martyrs' Day of the Italo-Ethiopian War - Yekatit 12, 1929 - EC (February 19, 1937).

The battle of Adwa in 1896 is a great historical and proud moment in the history of Ethiopia and marks a very important date in the African and World calendars.

The event will hopefully engage younger generation Ethiopians and create a lasting historical awareness of the significance of this pivotal moment in Ethiopian history and its importance in Black history.

Have a Family Day out in a lively and fun atmosphere!
