The Society's book club will discuss Adam Brookes' Spy Games.

In this thriller British journalist (and former agent of Britain's Secret Intelligence Service) Philip Mangan is lying low in East Africa. But after being caught up in a horrific terrorist attack in Ethiopia a shadowy Chinese figure approaches him to proffer information on the origins of the attack. Mangan is then catapulted back into espionage.

Adam Brookes is a former BBC journalist and foreign correspondent and Spy Games is dedicated to the journalists of Ethiopia.

Spy Games is available in paperback (ISBN 9780751552539) as well as in Kindle format.

We will meet in The Long Bar on the ground floor of the National Theatre.

If you would like to attend, or want further information, please email the Book Club.
