Mike Hailu Gebreyohanes

Saturday 8th July 2017

2:30pm to 5:30pm, Abbey Conference Suite, South Bank University, 100-116 London Road, SE1 6LN - Free Event (all welcome)

Rituals: beyond words is a 15-minute-long film and is about the difficulty of articulating one’s ritual, spiritual and cultural identity. The film set is in an Anthropology class in a London university, with students from different nationalities – and thus with various cultural backgrounds.

Rituals: beyond words was selected by the Roma Cinema DOC film festival (Italy, 2017), was the semi finalist of Los Angeles CineFest film festival (USA, 2017) and was the award winner of Eurasia International film festival (Moscow, 2017).

There will be a Q&A session with the director after the screening, as well as networking, over light refreshments.

Tickets to the event are free but capacity at the venue is limited, so please reserve your place soon to avoid disappointment.
